Mr Bazzani was formerly a top level Partner with global consulting firm KPMG, where he served in multiple leadership roles including as a member of KPMG’s National Executive Committee (NEC), which oversaw and was responsible for the firm’s turnover, strategic decision making, profitability and operations. He has significant hands-on experience in running and growing large scale and complex businesses, and is well skilled in business strategy and management, governance, accounting and law. He has worked extensively in corporate finance and advisory roles across a range of industries in both Australia and Asia Pacific.   Mr Bazzani is an advisory board member and/or chairman on a number of private companies.  His other current directorships include:

Damien was appointed MD and CEO of FleetPartners in February 2023. He has over twenty years’ experience in the domestic and international non-bank financial institutional space, with the majority of this time in senior leadership roles at successful fleet leasing businesses. Damien joined FleetPartners in 2020 as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), where he was responsible for all aspects of Finance as well as Strategy, M&A, Legal, Investor Relations and Company Secretarial. Prior to this, Damien served as CFO at Custom Fleet. Here, Damien played a lead role in the sale of the business by General Electric (GE) and repositioning the business in Australia and New Zealand. Damien has also held senior finance positions at GE, including GE Capital in Australia & New Zealand, Japan, Asia and in the US. Damien holds a Bachelor of Economics, Accounting from Macquarie University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Mr Robbie Blau was appointed CEO of SG Fleet Group in July 2006 and appointed to the company’s Board in January 2014. Robbie has overall responsibility for the strategic development of SG Fleet and manages its relationships with financial services partners. Robbie holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Law) and a Bachelor of Laws (Cum Laude) from the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a Higher Diploma in Tax Law from Johannesburg University.

Scott joined Smartgroup in July 2023. Scott has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services and regulated industries with a strong track record leading and transforming organisations.

Scott has held executive positions in a number of organisations including as a Group Executive with Commonwealth Bank, and as a Managing Director with Citigroup in Hong Kong and New York.

Scott is a Fellow and Adjunct Professor (Industry) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and a member of the Vice Chancellor’s Industry Advisory Board, and is a Board member of Supply Nation. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney, a Bachelor of Laws from UTS, an Executive MBA from INSEAD and an Executive MBA from Tsinghua University.

Will joined MMS in September 2023 to lead Corporate Communications and Government Relations and is responsible for internal and external communications and manages the Group’s government relations programs.

He is an experienced communicator who helps executive teams and the companies they lead recognise, understand, protect and build their reputations to help them better connect with all their stakeholders. He is an all-round corporate affairs executive with many years’ experience gained in-house and in consultancy in Australia and the UK, having worked with companies in technology, telecommunications, retail, superannuation and automotive.
